YWAM Missionaries

God stirred in my heart a passion for walking with these young men and women, helping them grow in their knowledge and understanding of Him as they studied at the University. We have now launched a new location of YWAM back at my alma mater, aiming to support YWAM missionaries in their efforts to engage students through Christian outreach initiatives. Our goal is to help students connect the dots between their fields of study and their relationship with God at the YWAM Student Center. John & Rebeca Stenson are passionate about their Christian outreach initiatives, aiming to help both young and old encounter their Maker through visual arts, audio arts, movement, and hospitality. We are excited to see people discover their identity and destiny as they draw close to the heart of the Father, their truest home. This journey also supports YWAM missionaries and fosters community at the YWAM Student Center, where everyone can connect and grow.

Mauricio and Diana, along with their daughter Celeste, arrived in the States in February 2022. Their ministry encompasses various Christian outreach initiatives, including opening their home and family for gospel conversations and the discipleship of university students in the city. They are also involved in developing and assisting with WHO I AM Weekend Intensive retreats in both English and Spanish. Additionally, they aim to promote the mission and purpose of God by ministering to the Latino immigrant community. This work supports YWAM missionaries and aligns with the goals of the YWAM Student Center. Languages spoken include Spanish and English.

Kim works with university students all over Europe, actively participating in Christian outreach initiatives. He has worked in Ukraine, Germany, and recently had a meeting with an Italian YWAMer to discuss possible ministry among students in the north of Italy, aiming to support YWAM missionaries in their efforts. Languages spoken include Korean, English, German, French, and more, which helps facilitate work at the YWAM Student Center.

Davi is on YWAM Brazil’s national leadership team and is currently completing training at Brasilia Presbyterian Seminary. Together with Moni, they lead at Jocum360 and Davi serves as an Elder and Youth Counsellor at their local church. This dynamic couple has extensive experience in training teenagers, youth, and adults on a variety of subjects, including Missions, Cross-Cultural Missions, God's Story, Vocation and Calling, Fear of the Lord, Communication, Ministry Partnership, and support for Single Christian Women. Their work is vital for Christian outreach initiatives. Please pray for Davi and Moni as they continue their mission in Brasilia, BRAZIL, where they also engage with the YWAM Student Center. They are fluent in Portuguese and English.

Vision: Christian university students from Brasília actively participating in Christian outreach initiatives with a glocal perspective. Objectives: Establish a model of cooperation between movements, ministries, and Christian groups at the University of Brasília to support YWAM missionaries. Activities: University Circle / HangOut / Joint Events / The Party / Audiovisual Project, connecting missions organizations and agencies with university audiences in local churches. This includes cultural immersion and mission services. We aim to start the translation into Portuguese of the University Discipleship Course and Converge Missional Internships at the YWAM Student Center. We are committed to running the programs and forming the teams. Coral lives in Brasília, BRAZIL. Languages: Spanish, Portuguese, English.

Vision: To see a professional and university mission movement impacting and transforming every area in society in Colombia, Latin America, and the nations. For university leaders, young professionals, and students to engage in Christian outreach initiatives as part of the great commission through training and mobilization in their spheres of influence. Goals: Conduct Biblical-worldview, Discipleship, and Calling seminars in churches with students and professionals, along with outreach efforts on campus and work projects. To establish two campus ministry teams in two of the main universities in Bogotá, supporting YWAM missionaries in their efforts. To develop more online seminars: 1. Cultural battle, 2. Calling and spheres of society, and 3. Biblical Civil Government. To provide Bible training and distribute Bibles to students at two campuses, further enhancing the YWAM Student Center's mission.
